Watching Your Salt Intake


It is no surprise salt causes many problems within our society so try and be conscious with your salt intake by implementing these easy tips

  1. buy fresh meat not packaged
  2. choose fresh fruit and vegetables
  3. when you buy frozen vegetables be sure that they say packed fresh so you don’t have lots of salt added to them to keep their form
  4. if your out enjoying a meal grab a teaspoon and measure your salt so you don’t go overboard
  5. Don’t stock salt in your pantry
  6. Buy low-sodium salt from your local supermarket
